Let’s come together to celebrate the amazing dads in our church family with a fun and relaxing Father’s Day Picnic at Juniper Valley Park, on Sunday, 6/15! Juniper Park is a 30-minute walk from the church, and we’ll have a volleyball net set up for some friendly games. Feel free to bring your favorite sports equipment, snacks to share, and a comfy blanket to sit back and enjoy the sunshine.
On Sunday, 6/22, after service, we will be holding our Second Newtown Clothing Swap. Please keep in mind that this is not a place for dirty undergarments or other inappropriate items. It’s a chance for people to update their wardrobe and find new homes for any gently used and unwanted pieces. Mark your calendars and invite your family and friends! All unclaimed items will be donated or recycled. Feel free to find Carmen or Sylvia, anytime before the event on these upcoming Sundays to drop off any clothes ahead of time.
We have met our goals for JoyCamp children’s registration and have officially closed the registration form. If you or anyone you know who has registered online but opted to make a cash payment, please find Carmen, Danielle or Andrew to submit payment.
If you would like to help cook lunch for our JC team of 35 volunteers and core members, you can find the lunch sign up sheet on the fridge door in the kitchen or online through the QR code. You may sign up for as many days as you’d like. A $100 reimbursement is available per day with proper receipts. We’re also looking for people to lead our 30-minute Morning Devotionals with the volunteer team. It’s a great way to connect, encourage one another, and share what God has been doing in your life.If you’re interested in helping with either (or both!) of these opportunities, please reach out to Carmen, Danielle, or Andrew. We’d love to chat and get you signed up!
