Adult Sunday School is back! We are studying the foundations of Christian faith with the Heidelberg Catechism every Sunday at 11:30am in Peace House (the green one). You can come in the middle of the series even if you have missed some.
Our nomination period has ended and we have one Elder candidate from the Mandarin congregation accepted and approved by the consistory. His name is Ning Zhang. Please see his Call Statement in the back of Sanctuary. We don’t have any candidates for Deacons this year.
Please join us on Saturday, 11/7, 7pm in the sanctuary, for a special concert by the Naoya Ogura Jazz Orchestra, featuring our very own Hina and Naoya! Thanks to a generous grant from their alma mater, the concert is completely free and open to the public. Invite your friends and family to come enjoy an evening of wonderful music together!
On Sunday, 11/ 8, in place of our usual after-service fellowship, Hina and Naoya will be hosting a special watch party and mini concert in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll watch a short NHK World feature on Naoya, enjoy a few musical pieces they’ve prepared, and have the opportunity to hear them personally share their story and testimony with us. It’ll be a wonderful chance to get to know them better, so we hope you’ll stick around after service and join us!
