Newtown election results are in! Congratulations to Morgan Wang and Alyson Yu, they have been elected as deacons. Chris Kuo and Christian Lin have been elected as elders. Installation service is scheduled for 1/4/26.
The nursing home residents at Rego Park Health Care have been so grateful for Newtown’s gifts over the past several years and have asked if we could help with gifts again. We will be collecting gift-wrapped items labeled women, men, or general (t- shirts, games, socks, adult coloring books with markers/coloring pencils, large print crossword/activity books, large piece puzzles, lotions, toiletries, blankets). No food or sharp objects please. Bring gifts for collection after 12/14 and 12/21 service.
We will also be caroling at the nursing home (Rego Park Health Care) on Christmas Day 12/25 at 10 am with CEMCQ. Please see Wendy Kwan if you are interested in joining.
