Newtown election results are in!! Congratulations to Morgan Wang and Alyson Yu, they have been elected as deacons. Chris Kuo and Christian Lin have been elected as elders. Installation service is scheduled for 1/11/26.
The nursing home residents at Rego Park Health Care were so thankful for Newtown’s gifts over the past several years! They asked if we could help with gifts again. They are looking for gift-wrapped items labeled women, men, or general (t-shirts, games, socks, adult coloring books with markers/coloring pencils, large print crossword/activity books, large piece puzzles, lotions, toiletries, blankets. No food or sharp objects please). Bring gifts for collection after 12/14 and 12/21 service.
We will also be caroling at the Rego Park nursing home on Christmas Day 12/25 at 10 am with CEMCQ. Please see Wendy Kwan if you would like to join.
Mark your calendar! Christmas Eve service will begin at 6:43 here in the Sanctuary.
On Sunday, December 28, we’ll be having our End-of-Year Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange. We’ll be enjoying food catered from local restaurants, made possible by generous donations to our Hospitality/Snack Fellowship Ministry. If you’d ever like to give toward this ministry, there is a designated donation box, or you can give directly to Carmen. After the party, we’ll move right into our White Elephant Gift Exchange. If you’d like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued at $15 or more. Everyone is welcome to join! We’ll have one exchange for adults and a separate one for children happening at the same time. We’re excited to close out 2025 celebrating together as a church family!
Join us for snacks and refreshments provided by the Queens Family Group after service in the fellowship hall.
Church Facilities Reminder after Fellowship: Please clear floors in any rooms you used today, whether it’s the Fellowship Hall, any rooms upstairs/basements, Nursery, Sanctuary, Chapel, and etc. This is so our cleaners can clean properly, if chairs, tables, or toys are left out, those areas can’t be cleaned. Please help kids put away toys, throw away any cups/plates, and return folding chairs and tables. Thank you for helping care for our church!
